Founding Fathers

While at work tonight I started thinking about the founding fathers, not just the founding fathers in general but I was wondering if say Thomas Jefferson could win a major party nomitation if he were alive today. The answer in short.....no. Both major parties have gotten so far away from the constitution that Jefferson would certainly have to run as a Libertarian or as a Republican who most people didn't take serious (i.e. Ron Paul).

The leaders of today would think that Jefferson was crazy;Bush: "nonintervention you must be a liberal in disguise yee haw", Obama: "You must want the country to go into a depression since you don't support my government waste.", Bush again: "Civil liberties ha"

It really is sad to see what this country is turning into, our elected representatives think it is ok to take our constitution and change it anytime they want to. The time has come to get these men out of office while we still have the freedom to do so! We need to stop voting for the "lesser of two evil, (after all the lesser is still evil) and vote for someone who is dedicated to upholding the constitution and defending our civil liberties.

  3. Butch you really didn't say much to prove your point at all. Only liberal talking points...hope, change! I am really hoping that you are being sarcastic.

  5. How is he saving me from being poor?? By spending my childrens money before they are even born?? Or by raising taxes on the companies that I work for and forcing them to spend money on more government regulations which might cause me to lose my job?? The only person that is going to "save me from being poor" is myself, maybe you should start taking responibility for yourself and stop worshiping a man that is clearly putting the government before the people just like all of the other people in the district of criminals.
Please start thinking for yourself and do some research instead of sitting around watching msnbc.

  6. @ Butch: Wow... I think I'm hearing the chants of pre-WW2 Germany. Butch you're helping me realize exactly how idol worship leads almost always to tyrrany and oppression.

@Dustin: My curiosity got the best of me, and for the first time ever, I watched MSNBC. "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" was the show and oh-my-freaking-word! That whole network is acting like, the far-left's Gestapo attack dogs. They have absolutely no credibility, and they're basically an attack organization. No wonder their ratings are crashing.

  7. Yeah Olbermann is a huge tool and Maddow is just as bad. The bad thing is they try to pass themselves off as unbaised news, it really is Obama propaganda, this is how every oppressive government starts.

  8. I couldn't agree more with you Dustin. You turn Olbermann on for 5 minutes even, and it's just non-stop propaganda. They claim that FOX is a propaganda pusher. But if you honestly compare FOX to MSNBC, you realize who the real fascists are. MSNBC should collapse. It reminds me of that one movie... oh what was it? Oh yeah-- "Triumph of the Will"!

  9. Just wanted to post this picture and didn't know how to post it into a comment. I agree Fox tells much more of what is happening than any other "news" networks, still don't like them haha I just like finding it myself. Also I just think that O'Reilly is a clown.

  10. *Gasping in surprise* You don't like Bill O'Reilly? I agree that Glenn Beck is better, but you still gotta love Bill. :D Oh well. Differences make the world go 'round.
